NUR 2035 - Certified Nursing Assistant Transfer Credit0 lecture hours 0 lab hours 1 credits Course Description This course provides one credit of recognition for prior learning/practice in the School of Nursing for certified nursing assistants. It is not intended as a regular course offering at MSOE. Prereq: None Note: Students must provide proof of active Certified Nursing Assistant certification and have completed the transfer credit process. This course meets the following Raider Core CLO Requirement: None Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

- Infection control principles and PPE
- Personal hygiene, bedmaking and toileting

- Safe patient handling- bed positioning, ambulation and transfers with a gait belt
- Catheter care and elimination needs
